Payment Policy:

1. Shives Appraisal Company will accept payment at the time of inspection from the homeowner, otherwise known as COD. If for any reason the payment is to be billed to the lender, the lender will be responsible for full payment of the appraisal assignment. It is our policy that all lenders are responsible for payment of appraisals ordered by their loan officers, employees, brokers, or sub-agents. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Visa and Mastercard are accepted.

2. A trip fee will be charged to the lender if the appraisal order is cancelled after the property inspection and prior to the conveyance of value. However, if an estimate of value is conveyed, written or verbal, the full fee will be expected for the assignment.
